First Get the Book
It really is that simple, buy the book then do the work.
It all starts with The Law Of Attraction
Do you remember the big surge of The Law of Attraction back in either the late 90’s or early 2000’s? That’s when the book The Secret came out and everyone was all up in arms about it.
Well, JFDI also works around this concept of the Law of Attraction. The first task Noor has you do is ask the Universe for a sign. Or rather, ask the Universe for a gift. Listen to this episode to find out what my gift from the Universe was!
You do have to put forth some effort
You can ask the Universe all you want for things, but you still have to do a lot of the work yourself.
Surround yourself with positive people
These can be people that inspire you, that make you feel good about yourself. Drop the people with bad energy as they will only bring you down.
Set goals for yourself
Noor talks about 8 areas where you should set goals to become better in. And those are:
- Spiritual (your connection to the Universe/God or whatever or whomever)
- Emotional (your relationship to your closest family members/partner/children)
- Physical (your physical health)
- Mental (your learning and mental growth)
- Social (your friendships and community)
- Charitable (how you give to others outside of yourself)
- Vocational (what you do for a living)
- Financial (your relationship to money and how you build your wealth)
Stay away from the Jealousy Kool-Aid
Don’t be all wrapped up in what others are doing. Take inspiration from them, but don’t worry about every detail about them. You never know what they are experiencing behind closed doors. It may not be all rainbows and unicorns.
Practice daily gratitude
When you are constantly taking notice of what you are grateful for in the now…it keeps you in the present. Don’t dwell on the past and don’t constantly pine for the future. Stay in the present as much as you can.
Don’t forget about Karma
Karma isn’t all about the bad. While it’s good to see someone get what they deserve when they do bad things, Karma also gives good back when we do good.
EFT really works!
In the online component of Just F*cking Do It, Noor has videos that show you how to go through the EFT process (that’s Emotional Freedom Technique).
By tapping certain meridian points on your body, while repeating specific phrases, you are able to release blocked energy surrounding emotions you are feeling. I know it may sound a little woo-woo, but trust me…it really does work. It may not completely eliminate the angst you feel about something, but it most certainly lessens it!
Listen to your Intuition
Your intuition is the language the Universe uses to communicate with you. Don’t ignore it. Be sure you are always listening to it, because it is very powerful.
